For the Love of Horror
Hi, I'm not R.L. Stine, but I do love Goosebumps and other horror related media. Horror has been a part of my life since the very beginning. Being disabled and gay fining my place wasn't easy. Horror taught me that being unique was a beautiful thing even when the world didn't. I remember my mom reading Goosebumps to me (voices included), that may or may not have made my skin crawl. I remember watching shows like Are You Afraid of the Dark? and Tales From the Crypt. Horror as a medium also allowed me to face my deepest fears in a safe way. I remember watching horror as a kid and being completely fascinated. That fascination hasn't left me to this day. It has definitely shaped me as a person. I don't know what this will turn into, but I just want to share my thoughts and passion for this media. Stay scary. Stay you. Comments are welcome
